Busy, Busy

I dont have much time to write.  School is coming to an end next week and there are many activities going on right now with 5 kiddos.  Also my parents are coming in a few days to visit for a week, cant wait!  The weather has been warm and awesome.  Enjoy a few pictures from today with the old point and shoot.  We let my little brother take our new lens with him to Florida for some photo shoots he is doing down there, hopefully it will come back in one piece! ha  We are really missing it and had an awesome thunder and lighting storm last night that would have made some great pictures, next time!  I will be back to catch up soon.

Wordless Wednesdays

Im back home!

I just got back at 12:00am last night or this morning. :-)  I forgot my camera battery for my trip and did not want to spend the money for one.  I'm waiting for a few friends to copy me on the pictures they took while I was away.  It was nice to be kid free for a few days.  It was kind of a crazy trip, the first day I was down with a migraine and it was horrible.  I stay with my girlfriend and her family, she has 7 kiddos.  I did not get to fit everyone in that I wanted to see, there was just not enough hours in the day.  I did have a wonderful Mother's Day at the ocean, it was beautiful and I laid down on the beach and slept for 1 1/2 hours it was heaven!!  I'm sorry to all those I did not catch up with and hopefully next time I will have more time.

I want to say Thanks so much to my girlfriend and her family for taking me in for 5 days and being my chauffeur and feeding me!  The time went too fast.  Hopefully I will get copies of the pictures soon and be able to post them.

Our new lens is on its way!!  (Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM, baby!!)  Should be here in a few days.  I wont get to have fun with it until I get back from Portland.  I had an old ticket that got canceled and I needed to reschedule so Im heading to Portland for 5 days!  Did I tell you Im going by myself!  Im so excited to have some time away and go visit some special girlfriends.  Here are some pictures with the old point and shoot.
